2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop - Day 4

Welcome to our 2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop. Even though our entries did not make the finalist cut, they represent our best work and we put our hearts and souls into our finished projects. I hope you like our showcase.

Best Dad Ever Card

This was my only masculine-themed card for my entries, but it also had a playful element to it. I turned the bottle cap and stamped ties into an award for dad. The scallop edges behind "DAD" were supposed to look a little like a circus tent. Finally the word "ever" was embossed on a ticket, signifying the fact we often go somewhere with our dads on Father's Day.

    8. Brenda, this is such a creative guy card! I love the colors you used (guy cards don't have to be drab IMO!). I love the large die cut words and the great way you layered the punched circles. The inside also looks so polished!
