Welcome to our 2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop. Even though our entries did not make the finalist cut, they represent our best work and we put our hearts and souls into our finished projects. I hope you like our showcase.
Epic Joy Scrapbook Page
Creating this page of my son and our dog Bella was bittersweet. These pictures were taken the last Christmas we had with Bella before she died of cancer. Looking back, I just remember how much fun we always had taking photos with her. I have to admit that scrapbooking is definitely my weak area when it comes to designing, so maybe this is an area I need to work on in the future. This page was created entirely with My Digital Studio and downloads.

Brenda, what a sweet page! and isnt' tru howmuch pets become a part of our family. This is a wonderful design (and I dont think your scrapbook pages are weak at all!) This is well done!
ReplyDeleteYour page, Brenda, is exactly what I love about scrapbooking! You have these memories that were just part of your everyday life that are preserved for all to enjoy even if we never experienced Bella and Nicholas together. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI think this page is wonderful and oh, so special! Love the layout!
ReplyDeleteWow, Brenda-nothing weak about this page! I love the bright colors and the layout is wonderful! I'm sorry Bella is no longer with you, but you have some great memories preserved!
ReplyDeleteScrap booking is not your weak point! Beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteOf your puppy and your boy, combined with a terrific layout make for a fabulous page!
Brenda, I am surprised you say that scrapbooking is your weakness, because this is a fantastic page, perfectly laid out and balanced. Your incorporation of the circle and arrow add visual interest and the colors are wonderful. The pictures of your son and sweet dog are priceless. We, too, have lost a dog to cancer, our last dog. Our current dog is named Bella.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great page! The pictures are coordinated beautifully and the joy on your son's face shines from the page. Scrapbooking is a weakness? I think not!
