Welcome to our 2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop. Even though our entries did not make the finalist cut, they represent our best work and we put our hearts and souls into our finished projects. I hope you like our showcase.
Seven Reasons Scrapbook Page
This was my favorite scrapbook page that I created for my Artisan Entry. I just love this picture of my son jumping up in the water during our Spring Break Vacation this year. Our son had never been at an ocean beach before and you can see from the expression on his face that he was experiencing pure joy.
I wanted to come up with a unique way to express the reasons that I love my son and the tickets were the perfect medium. I did a little alliteration on each ticket until I came to reason #7, "You always share the last cookie." This one is so true about him and I thought it was a fitting end to the tribute. Also, on this page I did some creative scoring on the strips of Crumb Cake at the bottom corner and dated the page by stamping on Washi Tape.
