Floral Frames Poinsettia Purse

Here is a Christmas version of my Floral Frames Vintage Purse. It uses every frame of the Floral Frames Framelits to create a multi-layered Poinsettia. I sponged all the edges in Black Staz On, so that each layer would pop. The "Merry Christmas" leaves were cut out of the largest Floral Frame and attached individually to the back of the front panel.

To create the center of the flower, I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight Card Stock using the smallest Floral Frames Framelit. I then patted the piece on my versamark pad and covered it with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. I used the heat tool to set the powder. Finally, I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and yellowed them slightly with a yellow Sharpie.

For the purse latch I used the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, instead of the larger 1/2" Circle punch I used in the tutorial. The Glimmer brads are a little smaller than the Antique Brads and I felt a smaller hole would look better. If you would like to make your own Floral Frames Poinsettia Purse, please see my Floral Frames Vintage Purse Tutorial for step-by-step directions.
