Interlocking Butterfly Card
I have been playing around with the interlocking idea some more and I decided to make interlocking butterflies this time. I just love the way the two butterflies interlock to keep the card closed. It also stands up really nicely when put out for display. Please see my interlocking medallion tutorial for details on how to make an interlocking gate fold card. The only notable difference with the interlocking butterfly is that one slot of the butterfly is cut from the top and the other from the bottom.
Supplies (all Stampin' Up!):
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, Crushed Curry CS, Rich Razzleberry CS, So Saffron CS, Razzleberry Lemonade DP, Rich Razzleberry Ink, Melon Mambo Ink, So Saffron Flower Brad, Iridescent Ice EP, Big Shot, Scallops Circle #2 Die, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I, Boho Blossoms Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Crop-a-dile, 1/16" handheld circle punch, Sponge Dauber
Amazing and beautiful cards. Thank you for posting the tutorial.
