Flip Card Class: Flower and Ship Cards

These are the last two cards that we made at my Flip Cards class. For the Flower Card greeting, I cut my cling mount stamp in half to make it easier to stamp. The front butterfly was stamped twice and punched out with the two different-sized butterfly punches and layered to give the butterfly some dimension. All supplies for these cards are available for purchase below.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies for Flower Flip Card

  • Stamp Sets: Polka-Dot Pieces (cling, wood)
  • Card Stock: Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, 2013-2015 In-Color DSP Stack
  • Ink: Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Baked Brown Sugar
  • Tools: Big Shot, Circle Card Thinlits, 2-½” Circle Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, 1-¾” Scallop Circle Punch, 7/8” Scallop Circle Punch
  • Embellishments: Large Pearl Jewels, Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Trim

The only tip that you need to know for the ship card is that the ship was stamped on a 2-1/2" Circle-punched piece in Early Espresso Ink. We then filled in the gap under the ship by scribbling with the fine point of the Early Espresso marker. It makes the circle look like a porthole. For a complete supply list, see below. I hope you like my last two easy-to-make flip cards.
