This is an updated version of my original cross card that I designed two years ago. Last week a customer wanted to create my original cross card, but the punch that I used, had since retired. The good news is that the currently available Classic Label Punch works beautifully to create a similar cross and the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper adds a special touch. This cross card is perfect for Easter or other Christian occasions and is really easy to make. Find out how to make it with my above video tutorial and then use the quick reference section below for the measurements.

Brenda, this cross card is absolutely stunning. You did a wonderful job of explaining how to make this card. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like it!! :)
DeleteBeautiful Card! Just wondering, what was the retired punch you used before to make this card? I might have it since I don't have the classic label punch. thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Fran!! I used the Modern Label Punch in my original card. You might want to watch the tutorial, because the punch is just a little bit different. http://qbeesquest.blogspot.com/2015/03/modern-label-punch-cross-card.html
DeleteI was looking for a quick "real meaning of Easter" card to make for the grandchildren. Thanks for the great idea! I unfortunately didn't have the punch you used (very creative!), but was able to improvise with a hand-cut cross. Thank you for the inspiration I needed!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this card. I stumbled across this on Pinterest March 2021. I did not have the punch you used but had Stampin Up Word Window punch which worked just as well. This was a good way for me to use up some of my DSP.
