Jar of Cheer Card (CASE-ing Tuesday #71)

I wish you could see how realistic the jar on this card looks. It's very hard to capture the detail on cards with night photography, but alas I ran out of daylight hours to do this card justice. I can't believe the days will get even shorter yet. Yikes! I wanted the jar to look authentic, so I cut a jar out of window sheet. Only then the jar was hardly distinguishable from its background. So then I cut a second jar out of vellum and put it behind both the snowman and the window sheet jar. Perfect! You can see through the jar, and adding the vellum behind gives the jar more of an outline.

All the supplies you'll need for this project are available for purchase HERE!

Today's CASE is brought to you from page 106 2016-2017 Catalog. Catalina and I are co-conspirators in CASE-ing. To check out Catalina's CASE-ing Tuesday card see HERE!

Would you like to CASE along with us? Join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group and you will be able to share your card with us. I hope you will join us.

What is CASE-ing? The acronym CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. When you CASE you can change nothing, a few things, or sometimes the card you are CASE-ing turns out looking completely different than the original.
