Picture Perfect Easel Card with Square Framelits

The Picture Perfect Stamp Set is one of the most beautiful stamp sets that I have ever seen. I've been fond of 2-step stamping since my very first inky finger, but the hummingbird in this stamp set takes 2-step to a whole new level. Add to that the transparency of photopolymer and you can stamp a colorful hummingbird in just minutes.

This easel card using the Square Framelits collection showcases the hummingbird and the rose to their best advantage. Find out how to make this WOW card by following my video tutorial above. All the supplies you'll need for this project are available for purchase HERE!

Quick Reference
  1. For the card base, cut a 10” x 5-1/2” piece of Thick Whisper White Card Stock.
  2. On the long side, score at the 2-3/4” and 5” mark.
  3. Fold the card base in half.
  4. Run the card base through the largest square die (without scallops). Make sure the open end of the card base is facing you. The square die is on the diagonal and the die will overhang the FOLD of the card base. Also, the extra score line runs through the center of the die on the diagonal.
  5. Also cut an extra square out of Thick Whisper White Card Stock
  6. Cut a scallop square out of Soft Sky Card Stock
  7. Make a pencil mark 1-3/8” from the bottom. Stamp your greeting in Early Espresso
  8. Stamp the hummingbird in reverse order, ending with the throat
  9. Create an eye with Sharpie and Rhinestone Jewel
  10. Stamp leaf on card base in Wild Wasabi and Garden Green ink
  11. Stamp rose in Calypso Coral, Watermelon Wonder, Early Espresso ink. Cut out rose.
  12. Fold the extra score line on the card base.
  13. Adhere the square piece to the triangle on the card base..
  14. Adhere the rose to the bottom corner of the card with Dimensionals.

  3. Hi Brenda. Love your card and tutorial. FYI. You put 5 1/2 instead of 5 in your written scoring instructions.
