Heart-Shaped Fancy Fold Card
Love is in the air this time of year and it inspires me to create heart-shaped projects. This Fancy Fold card is made using the Simply Scored Board, the Diagonal Plate and 2 circle punches. It's decorated using the Bloomin' Love Bundle, which has quickly become one of my favorites. I'll show you how to make it in my above video tutorial and I'll give you some great tips on how to cut out the Bloomin' Love Thinlits. Find out the rest of the supplies you'll need and where to get them HERE!
I reward my customers with a free tutorial when they place a minimum $15* order in my Stampin' Up store. Here's a list of tutorials to choose from: Free with Purchase Tutorial List.
January-March 2016, is a great time to be a Stampin' Up customer. Stampin' Up will send you a FREE sale-a-bration product if you spend $50*. Find out more HERE.
Above the card is shown open. You can put cute little "love" greeting on each of the inside hearts. In the photograph below, you can see how to position the circles to use as a template.
Quick Reference
Card Base: 8-1/2" Square. Use diagonal score plate to score in half both ways. Then using just the Simply Scored, score one side at the 4-1/4" mark. Fold along the score lines to make a triangle. Use TWO 2-1/2" circles as a template to create the top of the heart.
Inside Hearts: 6" Designer Series Paper Square. Use diagonal score plate to score in half both ways. Then using just the Simply Scored, score one side at the 3" mark. Fold along the score lines to make a triangle. Use TWO 1-3/4" circles as a template to create the top of the heart. Cut apart to create FOUR separate hearts.
