Minute Mondays: Monogrammed Note Cards
A set of monogrammed note cards makes an excellent gift for many occasions. This design is versatile: plan your monogram and choose a color that the recipient will love. The Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper makes the perfect backdrop, because it pairs well with any color and the different patterns make for six unique note cards.
I've created a little video tutorial to show you my tips and tricks to get these monogrammed note cards just right. All the supplies you'll need to make these cards are available for purchase BELOW! I used a gusseted cellophane bag to package up 6 monogrammed note cards and envelopes. Then I tied the bag with an 8" length of Venetian Crochet Trim.
Do you need help figuring out how to monogram? Well, I sure did. I found THIS PAGE really helpful in deciphering what letters to put where.
Hi Brenda, I love this and have wanted to make one for my friend who has the last name McDonald. I looked through all of the attachment you recommended and I could not find the part with the Mc's in it. Could you help me out please? She loves them and says 'I must make myself some of these" and never gets around to it so I thought I would for her birthday. Thank you I love this video.
Hi Kay, Thanks so much for your comment. The Sophisticated Serifs Stamp Set has two sizes of uppercase letters to do monograms. For the McD, I would use the larger size for the 'M' and the 'D' and the smaller size for the 'c'. I think it would look great. Just let me know if you have any other questions. :)
