Thursday Tip: Placing Sticky Back Embellishments

Thursday Tips, where I share ideas to make stamping easier

Are you frustrated trying to add itty-bitty, sticky-back embellishments to your cards and projects? Do your fingers seem enormously large and clumsy while trying to pick them up? It's not just you, but you don't need to be frustrated... just get a Paper-Piercing Tool. Not only does this little gem of a tool, pierce paper, but it also allows you to pick up the tiniest of embellishments on its pointy end.

Just take your paper-piercing tool and point it at the base of the embellishment, right where the glossy paper meets the embellishment.

Then lift the embellishment to its new location and use a free finger to push down on the embellishment while sliding the paper-piercing tool away. It's that simple. I'm using the tiniest pearl jewels in my sample and I added all 14 of them effortlessly. :)

We use this tip all the time at my classes. It makes using all of our sticky back embellishments (pearls, rhinestones, and candy dots) fun to use. Find out the supplies you'll need to make this card (including the Paper-Piercing Tool) and where to get them HERE!
