September marks the start of my two new stamp clubs. I love my stamp club hostesses and I always reward them with a hand-stamped hostess gift. For this club cycle I created a stationary kit made from our empty DVD cases, the Carry On hostess stamp set, and Stampin' Up!'s beautiful designer series paper.
Here is the inside of the DVD cases. Inside I included 5 envelopes, 5 card bases, Some wrapped Andes mint chocolates and a matching RSVP pen. To see how I made the RSVP pens have a look at the step-by-step instructions below.
For the cover, I used a 10-1/2" x 5" piece of designer paper and a 10-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of card stock.
RVSP Pens
Step One
1. Cut a 3-1/4" x 1" piece of designer series paper.
Step Two
2. Unscrew the bottom of the RSVP pen.
Step Three
3. Tightly roll the paper around a wooden dowel.
Step Four
4. Insert the rolled paper into the barrel of the pen.
Step Five
5. Screw the bottom of the pen back on.

What a fabulous idea! I have about a bizillion of those empty cases (I'm a bare-nekkid rubber girl with a different storage method), so I'm always on the lookout for ways to use them! Beautifully done! (Spotted your post on SCS and clicked over to take a better look - may have to peruse the rest of your blog...)
ReplyDeleteWOW such an awesome idea - DVD CASES!! didn't realise until I read the write properly! TFS
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and a lovely gift for your stamp club. Just discovered your blog. Wow! Lots of amazing ideas.
ReplyDeleteUsually other SU Demos are nice but somewhat "ordinary"... love your ideas and hope its okay to CAS(e... but not everything :o) ). Was a SU demo-er but had to give it up to go back to school... may resume that interest. Am very pleased to have found you on the web; so sorry about your Bella and loss of a really good friend and companion... though some time ago... am sure you still miss her. Blessings to you and thank you for sharing your creativity, which so many make you sign up for a club to see their art work... yours is so unique and refreshing. Donna
