Memphis Pyramid Centerpieces

And now for something a little different... My blog mainly showcases Stampin' Up! products, but I just had to show you a contract that came my way a few weeks ago. My neighbor asked me if I could make some pyramid boxes for him. He wanted them to look like the Memphis Pyramid and he needed 25 of them for his association's banquet. These are the pyramid centerpieces that I came up with.

The scale is a little larger than I'm used to working with. To cut them out I used a yard stick, my hobby blade and an Olfa mat. I also had to use large scale card stock, in this case, mirror poster board. I used my Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Board to score the folds.

I'm happy with the way the pyramids turned out and my neighbor said they looked super on the tables at the banquet. I hope they inspire you to think outside the box. :)
