Sweet Bella ... we'll love you forever


Today it was time for our sweet Sheltie Bella to leave us. She valiantly fought a long battle with cancer. She will be terribly missed.


I have known Bella since she was 2 weeks old and her leaving us leaves a big hole in my heart.

    I am so sorry to hear. We had to say goodbye to one of our furbabies yesterday. Our 14 year old yellow lab had a severe stoke and had to be put down. It was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. My thoughts are with you.

    We had to put down our Daisy-dog several years ago and I know how painfully hard it is. I know that whole in your heart. Hope in time you can fill it with another puppy who needs a loving home. My heart is with you.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. My dog can't figure out why I was just hugging her head off. This is our 3rd dog and we swear after her we won't get another....yep we said that after the first one too. Dog people need dogs. They know love and they give love like nothing else can.....don't tell my kids that. Sending hugs!

    So sorry for your loss Brenda. Our sheltie was put to sleep over 30 years ago, I still think of her sometimes. I hope you feel able to scrapbook some of your feelings about her, it can only help. x x

    Our beloved Sheltie, Toby, had to be put down when he was only 4 1/2 yrs. He had canine lupus. That was 17 yrs. ago, and we still miss him everyday. Sorry to hear about Bella too.

    Just discovered your site and really like your style. So sorry to hear that you had to put down your lovely Sheltie, Bella. She was beautiful! We have 2 Shelties now whom we love. They are awesome girls. We lost our first Sheltie two years ago, and it was the hardest thing I had to do to put him down. So my heart goes out to you in hopes that the wonderful memories you have of Bella will help you through this difficult time.

    I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet friend. She is so beautiful. I had to say goodbye to my Saint Bernard Rosy last October. She had cancer as well. Having her put to sleep was the most difficult thing I've ever done. I wish you healing although I know no one will ever take her place.

    I know the heart break of loosing the fourfooted friends. They give so much to you. i found a good little poem when i lost our golden girl. it is the Rainbow bridge. it gave me much comfort and it still does when my thought go to our girl. i hope it will help you. Sherie

    Brenda it is with heavy heart and tears in my eyes to say I'm sorry for your loss. I too know exactly what you are going thru. After 18 years we put our beloved girl to sleep also. But everytime I look at her picture or think of her - she brings joy to my heart because she was so lovable. I can see yours was also. Take care
