Fringed Birthday Card (CT #89)

Today's CASE-ing card was a challenge for me. I didn't want to repeat stamp the greeting as in the original card below, so I had to come up with something else. That something else turned out to be fringe done with the Fringe Scissors AND I couldn't be happier with the results. What is CASE-ing? The acronym CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. When you CASE you can change nothing, a few things, or sometimes the card you are CASE-ing turns out looking completely different than the original.

Quick Reference
  • Card Base: 8-1/2" x 4-1/4", score in half at the 4-1/4" mark.
  • Fringe Pieces: 4-1/4 x 2-1/2", 4-1/4" x 2", 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" (leave 3/4" unfringed)
  • Fringe Cover Strip: 4-1/4" x 3/4" (use same color as the topmost designer series paper)
  • Banner: 5" x 1-1/2" and punch with Banner Triple Punch
