The countdown is on. Only two more weeks in Memphis and then we’re moving. Some of my friends already know the secret place, but I thought it would be fun to see if anyone else could guess which city I’m moving to (with a few clues).
1) I’ve never been there before.
2) Everyone who’s been there says I will love it.
3) It’s located somewhere in the US.
4) It’s colder than Memphis.
5) I hear this city has great seafood.
6) Sports are a big part of this city.
7) It’s steeped in history.
Check back next week to see if your guess was right.
PS: Welcome to all my new blog subscribers. I promise to get back to my stamping blog posts, once I get my craft room set up in my new place. :)

Boston
ReplyDeleteI believe Boston also.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Boston too.
ReplyDeleteEveline.
Sounds like Boston.
ReplyDeleteMyrna
Yep...Boston.
ReplyDeleteMy hometown BOSTON or somewhere in Mass? If so you will LOVE the seafood for sure
ReplyDeleteBoston - Cold, Seafood and Sports!
ReplyDeleteWanna say Boston like everyone else :) I was just wondering where you'd gotten off to! I made your Hershey's baby carriage this week, and I was like, "I haven't 'heard' from her in awhile" and then I read your blog and was like, "Oh yeah!" (after I saw your last post, I remembered)... glad you'll be up and crafting soon :)
ReplyDeleteCan only be BOSTON,
ReplyDeleteLOL, I hadn't read the other comments and deduced Boston, myself!
ReplyDeleteIf it isn't Boston, than St Louis or Baltimore would be my next 2 guesses! They both meet your criteria , especially Baltimore!!
ReplyDeleteOK so not sure if mine went through! LOL Boston, I agree with everyone else, Welcome to the East Coast, I am on Long Island!
ReplyDeleteWow - I thought I was going to be unique when I planned on saying Boston! My first thought was Seattle but then I figured that sports isn't as big there as in Boston.
ReplyDeleteHow funny we all think Boston! That was my guess when I was reading my email before I got to your blog and then I see it was everyone's guess. Great minds really must think alike!!
ReplyDeleteBoston was my first thought too!
ReplyDeleteYep Boston...the seafood and history were good hints but the sports for me is the clincher....I have n-laws in Massachusetts and know they are all big sports fans.
ReplyDeleteBoston was my first thought also. Seems like that is a popular guess. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy guess is New Orleans!!! Where ever you go, we will follow! Best of luck with the packing and move...is never easy (especially when you have been in the same house for over 37 years...need to pretend and have a few big garage sales!!!)
ReplyDeleteBoston! I live outside of Boston and went to high school and college in Memphis. If you move here, we HAVE to meet!
ReplyDeleteBOSTON - it's steeped in tea party (the old original kind) history! Clever clues!
ReplyDeleteBOSTON, great place. Good luck on your move, very exciting.
