Minute Mondays: Watercolor Wonder Congratulations

Minute Mondays, where I showcase quick cards

I had been prepping for classes all weekend, so I really needed to find a way to pull off a quick card for Monday... Watercolor Wonder Note Cards to the rescue. These note cards already have a lot of the work done for us. I pulled out my one of the green washed cards and started to play. I didn't want to cover up the intense green color too much, so I decided to just put a simple banner greeting across the card. I embossed "Congratulations" on a Watercolor Paper banner to match the texture of the notecards.

I sponged the doily with Gold Encore Ink. To make the bow, I first tied a bow in the white organza. Then I tied a bow with the Gold Baker's Twine over top. I attached the bow and a line of gold sequins with sticky strip. Wouldn't this make an elegant card for a wedding or anniversary?
