Home from the Hospital

We’ve been back home from the hospital for a week now. Our son is doing so much better. He even went back to school this week, with some restrictions. It’s so good to see him smiling, walking and eating… doing all those things that healthy boys do. Thanks for all the kind comments that were left on my blog during that time.

I had so many people to thank after our hospital stay, so I made up these thank you cards to send out. The quails represent my husband, my son and me. I intentionally kept the cards simple and unembellished, because I had to mail them. I have to admit that my creativity got a little zapped while I was in the hospital. I wish I could have turned the worry time into creative time, but it just wasn’t happening.

I placed my summer mini order today and when it arrives I should be ready to play again. Stay tuned for more fun creations coming soon.

Stampin’ Up Supplies: Stamp Sets: Happy Together, Family Phrases; Paper: Greenhouse Gala, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Whisper White; Ink: Not Quite Navy; Markers: Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizzazz; Scallop Edge Punch.
