Liebster Award and Stylish Blogger Award
I started off the week on a little bit of a low confidence note. I had posted my Origami Easter Basket Tutorial and it was hardly getting any notice. You know how it is, sometimes those comments provide a real confidence boost and when you don’t get very many, it has the opposite effect. That all changed when three fellow stampers made my week!! Melissa Davies, Lesley Croghan and Lorraine Toll all honored me with awards this week and I want thank them so much for making my week so special.
First of all, I’m so honored that Lesley Croghan has given me the Liebster Award. Lesley is such a talented papercrafter that it makes this award even more special coming from her. You can check out Lesley’s Inspirational blog here: Always Playing with Paper.
The Liebster Blog Award is given to bring newer blogs to light and originated in Germany. It's a great way to share blogs that might not otherwise be seen or ones you want to share with others. They should have less than 150 followers.
As a recipient of this award I must share the love and pay it forward by:
1 Creating a post where I blog about the Liebster award & reveal my 3 blog picks
2 Let the honorees know that I selected them
3 Copy & paste the blog award on my blog
I would like to award the liebster award to these three talented fellow papercrafters
1. Carla of Carla Scraps: I just found Carla’s blog a few days ago when she posted a link to her punch art hydrangea and lilac tutorial. Her blog is filled with gorgeous creations. I love all the creative details she puts on her projects.
2. Nyne at Jardin de Papier: I first discovered Nyne’s talent on the Stampin’ Up! demo only website. Her work is amazing and I think it sometimes is overlooked because her blog is in French. However, I find that art transcends the language barrier and I just love looking at her fabulous creations.
3. Margit of Margitsschatzruhe: I came across Margit’s beautiful cards in the Splitcoaststampers gallery last fall. I loved seeing her work with the German version of Stampin’ Up! stamps. She is also starting to write some fabulous tutorials, found under the category anleitung/tutorials. Please go and check out her wonderful art.
Carla, Nyne and Margit... Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with the crafting world. Here is your LIebster award:
Stylish Blogger Award
Also this week, Melissa Davies of Rubberfunatics and Lorraine Toll of Lorrainesstampincorner awarded me the Stylish Blogger Award. Lorraine and Melissa are both very talented stamp artists. Please go and have a look at their blogs. Thank you Lorraine and Melissa for boosting my confidence this week. It means a lot to me. Check out this link from January where I was awarded the Stylish Blogger Award for the first time. I will not pass on the award again right now, since I just did it so recently. I just wanted to let Melissa and Lorraine know how much I appreciate this award.
